The SVHE Kinder and Intermediate Choirs will begin the spring semester on Wednesday, January 15.  We will meet every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-2:30 at First Southern Baptist Church in Salina until the concert in early April.  We have three choirs: Kinder Choir (grades K-2), Intermediate Choir (grades 3-6), and Senior Choir (grades 7-12). During the spring semester, Senior Choir students are invited to participate in the Golden Belt Vocal Festival.  For more information about the festival and to register for the festival, use this link: https://www.svhe.com/golden-belt-music-festival/  .  The first two rehearsals, January 15 and 22, are designated visit days.  If your children are unsure about joining choir and would like to check it out for a week or two before you make a decision and pay your fee, just email Sheila DeHaan (lnsdehaan@gmail.com) to let me know that you are planning to visit choir and include the names and grade levels of the children who will be visiting.  Parents are always welcome in our classrooms.  Please email any questions to Sheila DeHaan (lnsdehaan@gmail.com) or Jennifer Henriksen (smallblessings4him@gmail.com).

Fee is $15 for the first child, $10 for the 2nd, and $5 for each additional child. There is a $30 non-member fee per family that are not members of SVHE (if driving further than 60 miles, this fee is waived). You can sign up for an SVHE membership here (membership fee is $25).

All Intermediate and Kinder Choir parents are expected to take a turn helping with the Intermediate and Kinder Choirs.
