Listen to the Stars, A Peter Pan Play

Synopsis: 
Listen to the Stars is adapted from the novel Peter Pan and Wendy by J.M. Barrie. It follows much of the original plot and features well known characters such as Wendy, Captain Hook, Smee, Tinker Bell, the lost children, and of course Peter Pan. 

“The second star to the left, then straight on till morning”; that’s where Peter Pan lives, or so he tells Wendy when he flies into her room looking for his missing shadow. Wendy soon discovers Neverland, where fairies are vengeful, pirates take tea, and stars speak. Caught between old and new, fact and imagination, she must decide what she believes is real and who matters most.

3M, 2F, 5-9 either gender

SVHE members from the ages of 13 to 19 are welcome to audition. 

Directed by: 
SVHE grads Alicia DeHaan and Karly Kroeker

Cost:
$20 per person (to help cover the cost of set)

Audition:
Tuesday August 5 (If this date does not work for you, email Alicia at ajoydehaan@gmail.com) You will be asked to read from the script and complete some movement exercises. 

Rehearsals 
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 August 19 to October 28 in the Life Center at First Covenant Church, Salina KS.

Dress rehearsals will be November 3, 4, and 6. Performances will be November 7 and 8 in the First Covenant Church Life Center.
